The region and city of Erfurt offers an extensive network of cycle paths and routes.
Our campsite is located directly on the famous Gera cycle path and is a perfect stopover for recharging your batteries or a starting point for day trips in the Erfurt region.
The Gera Cycle Route, in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Thuringian Forest, stretches 75 kilometres from the Rennsteig to the Unstrut.
The cycle route is characterised both by varied landscape, with the Thuringian Forest and the Gera floodplains, and by the culture and history of the towns.
The Gera Cycle Route runs for the most part very close to the river and has connections to numerous other long-distance cycle routes and themed routes.
Our campsite is located directly on the route of the stage: Erfurt-Gebesee and is therefore an ideal stage destination.
Erfurt Lakes
The Erfurt Lakes Cycle Route is a cycle route in the north-east of the state capital and connects the Erfurt Lakes with Erfurt and long-distance cycle routes Thuringian City Chain, Unstrut Cycle Route and Gera Cycle Route.
The Erfurt lakes were created in the course of gravel mining over the last 100 years and are now replacement biotopes for many endangered animal species and an important nature, sports and leisure region for the city of Erfurt.
Our site, with its two lakes, the Erfurt Lake and the Königseck, is located in the middle of the Erfurt Lakes area. Our restaurant and terrace invite you to linger or take a break.
